Bulk Ticket Refunds Are Here: Refund Multiple Participants in Just a Few Clicks

Managing ticket refunds is an unavoidable part of event management. Whether it's due to attendee cancellations, event changes, or special circumstances, organizers often need a quick and reliable way to process refunds.
Until now, refunds on KonfHub had to be processed individually for each participant. While this worked well for occasional requests, handling refunds for multiple attendees could become a repetitive and time-consuming task.
To make this process faster and more efficient, we've introduced Bulk Ticket Refunds.
What Has Changed?
Organizers can now select multiple participants and initiate refunds for all selected tickets at once, eliminating the need to process refunds one by one.
This update is especially useful when you need to issue refunds to a group of attendees due to event postponements, cancellations, duplicate registrations, or any other scenario that affects multiple participants.
How Bulk Refunds Work
Refunding multiple tickets is straightforward:
Navigate to your attendee list.
Select the participants whose tickets need to be refunded.
Click Refund Ticket.
Review the refund options in the confirmation window.
- Confirm and initiate the refund.
Before processing the refund, you'll be asked whether you would like to include processing fees and taxes in the refund amount.
If attendees have purchased add-ons such as merchandise, workshop access, meal plans, or other event extras, organizers can choose whether those add-ons should be refunded along with the main ticket.
Bulk Refunds for Ticket Add-Ons
Event registrations often include more than just the ticket. Participants may purchase add-ons such as workshops, merchandise, meal coupons, networking sessions, parking passes, or other event extras during registration.
With KonfHub's Bulk Refund feature, organizers can now refund these add-ons without any extra effort. Depending on the situation, add-ons can be refunded along with the ticket or individually, giving organizers complete control over the refund process.
Refund Add-Ons Along with the Ticket
If a participant is eligible for a complete refund, including all purchased add-ons:
Go to Participants > Attendees.
Select one or more participants.
Click Refund Ticket.
In the refund confirmation window, choose whether you want to:
Review the details and confirm the refund.
The ticket and selected add-ons will be refunded together in a single transaction.
Refund Add-Ons Individually
There may be situations where only an add-on needs to be refunded—for example, if a workshop is cancelled while the participant is still attending the main event.
In such cases:
Go to Participants > Attendees.
Open the Add-Ons section.
Select the add-on(s) you want to refund.
Initiate the refund for the selected add-ons.
This allows organizers to issue partial refunds without affecting the participant's event ticket.
Understanding Processing Fee Refunds
When choosing to refund processing fees along with the ticket amount, it's important to understand the financial impact.
If processing fees are refunded to the participant, the corresponding processing fee amount will be deducted from the organizer's settlement.
This gives organizers flexibility to decide whether participants should receive a full refund or only the ticket value, depending on their event policies.
Important Things to Know
Before initiating a bulk refund, keep the following points in mind:
- Refunds Cannot Be Reversed
Once refunds are initiated, the action is final and cannot be undone. We recommend reviewing the selected participants and refund details carefully before confirming.
- Refunds Are Returned to the Original Payment Method
After a refund is successfully initiated, the amount is sent back to the participant through the same payment method used during registration.
- Processing Time
Refunds typically take 5–7 business days to reflect in the participant's account, depending on the payment provider and banking processes.
Why This Matters
Bulk refunds help organizers save valuable time when managing attendee requests. Instead of manually processing each refund individually, teams can now handle multiple refunds in a single workflow, reducing administrative effort and improving operational efficiency.
Whether you're managing a small workshop or a large-scale conference, bulk refunds make attendee management smoother when unexpected changes arise.
The Bulk Ticket Refund feature is available on KonfHub for organizers in all the paid plans (Lite, Silver and Gold plans) and is designed to make refund management faster, simpler, and more convenient for event organizers.
