KonfHub is glad to introduce “Credits” feature in the event admin dashboard which can be purchased by Indian organizers themselves and utilized. Currently organizers can use the credits towards sending WhatsApp messages for their event attendees and for adding photos in event galleries.

In this blog let us see in more details about the credits feature and how they can be purchased and used in KonfHub.

Overview of the Credits Feature

Here are some key details about the credits feature in KonfHub:

  • Minimum purchase: 50 credits

  • Currently available for: India events only (Self-purchase of credits for international events will be available soon)

  • Currently the credits can be used for WhatsApp messaging and gallery image uploads (extending bulk uploads & registration limits, purchasing add-ons, etc will be available in near future)

  • You can use UPI, Credit & Debit Cards, Wallet or Netbanking options to purchase credits (processing fee + GST will be applicable for the purchased amount)

  • Unused credits from an event can be transferred to any other event (only event creators can transfer the credits from an event to any of their other events)

Credits in KonfHub can be currently used for two key features:

  1. WhatsApp Messaging: You can send timely event updates and reminders to your participants via WhatsApp directly from KonfHub platform.

  2. Gallery Image Uploads: You can showcase event moments by uploading images to your event’s gallery.

Now let us see how to purchase credits for an event.

Easy Steps for Purchasing Credits

Purchasing credits is super easy - all the organizer needs to do is to go to Credits menu item, click on Purchase Credits, choose a payment option, and pay the amount for the required number of credits.

Step 1: Go to Credits menu item in admin dashboard

In your event admin dashboard, in the menu item, click the last menu item named “Credits”.

Step 2. Click “Purchase Credits” button

On clicking the “Purchase Credits” button, a modal popup will appear in which you can enter the no. of credits you wish to purchase.

We have entered 51 credits here because 50 is the minimum number of credits you need to purchase on the platform.

You can optionally provide your GST details when purchasing the credits. These GST details will be part of the invoice generated once the credit purchase is successful.

Step 3: Choose the payment method and pay

You have different payment methods available to choose from. For the UPI payment method, the processing fee is just 1% + GST. For other payment methods, it is 3% + GST. Review the cost of purchase summary and proceed to pay.

Step 4: Review the credits you just purchased in the table

Once you make the payment, you’ll see the Credits Purchase History table showing the credits you just purchased.

How to use the credits?

The purchased credits can be used for your event for sending WhatsApp messages or uploading gallery images. The credits are automatically deducted from your account whenever WhatsApp messages are sent or images are uploaded in the gallery. You can always review the Credits Consumption status and Usage from the Credits section.

What Happens to Unused Credits?

No need to worry! Any unused credits after your event ends can be transferred to any of your other active or upcoming events using the “Transfer Credits” option. On clicking this button, you can choose the number of credits to transfer (from the available credits) and the event to which you wish to transfer the credits.

Please note that you need to be Event Creator to be able to transfer credits to another event.
