KYC for event organizers is a one-time verification process done on the profile level. Once completed, organizers do not need to undergo the process again for other events they host on KonfHub. This verification focuses on confirming the organizer's identity.
Note: KYC verification is only for the organizers hosting events on KonfHub in India.
How Does It Work?
1. Log in to KonfHub Dashboard and click on Payment & Taxes > Bank Details
You’ll see an alert that asks you to “Complete Your KYC” if you haven’t already done so. Click on that.
2. Aadhar Card Verification: Organizers are required to add their Aadhar card details for verification. Upon submission, the system performs an e-verification to ensure the Aadhar number is valid.
3. E-Verification Process: When generating the OTP, it is sent to the Aadhar card's linked mobile number. This ensures the authenticity of the Aadhar card and the organizer's identity.
4. KYC Completion: Once the Aadhar card is verified, the KYC process is completed, providing organizers with verified status on KonfHub.
Key Points to Note:
One-Time Process: KYC is done only once per organizer profile, eliminating the need for repeated verifications for each event.
OTP Verification: Organizers have three attempts to generate and verify the OTP. If unsuccessful, they can reach out to our support team for assistance.
Unrelated to Bank Details: KYC is separate from bank details verification. [Organizers are required to complete both bank account details as well as complete their KYC in order for the settlements to happen.]
