What’s New in the Custom Modules Feature?
The latest update introduces more flexibility in how module content is configured: While creating a module, organizers can now define the content structure by selecting a suitable module type based on the kind of information they want to share.
Single File: Perfect for sharing standalone resources such as event brochures, venue maps, PDF guides, menu cards, or conference handbooks in a simple and organized way.
URL / Link: Ideal for directing attendees to external resources such as registration pages, sponsor websites, feedback forms, livestream links, or social communities.
Multiple Files / Items: Helps organizers group and share several related resources together, including speaker presentations, session documents, sponsor brochures, product catalogs, and gallery albums.
This flexible module structure enables organizers to create cleaner, more intuitive, and better-organized app experiences for attendees.
Once a module is created, organizers can edit it further and enhance the attendee experience by adding:
Module Description: Provide context and explain what attendees will find inside the module.
List of Items (for Multiple Files / Links option): Inside the module, organizers can add multiple items that will be displayed to attendees in an organized list format.
This makes navigation easier and ensures attendees can quickly find the exact resource they need.
How to Create a Custom Module in KonfHub
Setting up modules is quick and simple.
Step 1: Go to the Modules Section
Open your event admin dashboard in KonfHub and navigate to the Modules section.
Step 2: Click on “Create New Module”
Create a new module for the content you want to display in the event app.
Step 3: Add Module Details
Fill in:
Module Title
Module Icon
Module Type
Single File
URL/Link
Multiple Files
Step 4: Edit the Module
After creating the module, you can:
Add a module description
Add files or links
