In case of a refund, the refund will be made to the source mode of payment through which the ticket was purchased. As the organizer, you need to decide how to handle the GST payments when you refund the participant.

Example

Let us try to understand this with the help of a simple example. Suppose some employees from Myntra are participating in an event.

Scenario #1: Each employee is purchasing their own ticket which needs to be reimbursed by Myntra who will also be bearing the GST cost. As you can see the employee will fill in his own details in the participant section and add Myntra’s details in the buyer section.

On purchasing the ticket, the participant will get the ticket via email and the invoice will be mailed to the buyer's email address. Participants can also download the ticket and invoice from their KonfHub profile.

Scenario 2: One employee is purchasing tickets for other employees which need to be reimbursed by Myntra who will also be bearing the GST cost. As can be seen from the

Image below, the authorized person will fill in their details followed by details of other participants. They will share the company details in the buyer’s details. In case no buyer details are filled, the system will automatically take the first participant’s details.

The participants will receive their own tickets and the buyer will get the combined invoice.
