# How to Set Up the KonfHub Attendee App for a Seamless Event Experience

A great event experience goes beyond good speakers and sessions — it also depends on how easily attendees can access information, connect with others, and stay updated. The [KonfHub Attendee App](https://blog.konfhub.com/introducing-the-ultimate-attendee-app-elevate-your-event-experience) helps you offer all of this in one place, with simple setup and complete branding control.

The best part?
You can configure the entire app directly from your KonfHub Admin Dashboard — no coding, no app store requirements.

Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help you set up your Attendee App quickly and effectively. In this blog, we’ll walk you through how to set up and configure the Attendee App for your event in just a few simple steps.

**Step 1: Accessing the Attendee App**

Once the KonfHub team enables the Attendee App for your event (Gold Plan only), you can access it from:

**Apps & Utilities → Attendee App**

You will see these tabs:

* Branding

* Modules

* AI Networking (optional, enabled on request)

* Tags & Filters

* Notifications

* Analytics

Each section helps you customize the app based on your event needs.

**Step 2: Branding Your App**

The **Branding** tab lets you customize the look and feel of your Attendee App.

You can:

* Set your event’s subdomain (e.g., *yourevent.app.konfhub.com*)

* Choose your app’s colour theme

* Upload your event logo

**Tip:** Choose colours that are easy to read on all screens.

**Step 3: Managing Modules**

Modules are the building blocks of your app. They include sections like Agenda, Speakers, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Resources, and more.

**Create New Modules**

* Go to **Modules**

* Click **Create New Module**

* Give a title

* Select a module type

* Save

You can then edit its content and visibility.

**Set Module Visibility**

You can choose who can see each module:

* **Public**: Visible to anyone with the link

* **Private**: Attendees must log in

* **Ticket-Based**: Only specific ticket holders can view the module

**Example:** Keep Agenda and Speakers public, but keep Resources private for registered attendees.

**Step 4: Enabling AI Networking**

AI Networking helps attendees find relevant people based on shared interests and goals.

This feature must be enabled by the KonfHub team. Once active, you can:

* Edit the list of interests and goals

* Remove items not relevant to your event

* Add your own custom goals

* Add icons to make them more visually appealing

**Example:** For a tech event, include goals like “Find collaborators” and interests like “AI/ML,” “Cloud,” or “DevOps.”

**Step 5: Creating Tags & Filters**

Tags and filters make it easy for attendees to find what they’re looking for.

You can:

* Add tags to speakers, sessions, exhibitors, etc.

* Create filters so users can narrow down results

**Example:** Add tags like “AI,” “Innovation,” “DevOps,” etc. for your Speakers module.

**Step 6: Sending Notifications**

Use notifications to share updates, reminders, or important announcements during the event.

You can:

* Create custom messages

* Add buttons or links

* Send immediately or schedule in advance

**Note:** Notifications work only when the attendee’s browser is open.

## **You’re Ready to Launch!**

Once everything is set up:

1. Share your Attendee App link (your subdomain)

2. Encourage attendees to explore the modules

3. Continue updating content and sending notifications during the event

Once participants start using the app, go to the analytics tab to see how the app is being used.

### **Viewing Analytics**

The **Analytics** tab helps you understand how attendees engage with your app.

You can track:

* Number of signed-in users

* Total connections made

* Business cards exchanged

* Module clicks and activity

These insights help you measure engagement and improve future events.
